Travelers Diary: To The land of White Elephants
It dates back to 2014, It was winters in India and so was the air outside.
But no one knew the shrillness I carried while reaching the Airport. "This trip is going to be Amazing". The bold letters tell level of the excitement I had.
The beauty about travelling is that you get to see the whole new world through a 576 megapixel camera, not manufactured by Nikon or Cannon.
The funny fact is that your whole perception about the world changes every time you visit another country. I ain't no joking. The moment, the air of Thailand touched my face I started living a kind of new life. Christmas and New Year Eves were cherry on the top of the cake. The night life in that period totally persuaded me in believing that I was dreaming some reality.
This dream less reality had a lot of adventures stored for me. Underwater Sea Walk and Para-Sailing were surely two of them. And the most entertaining were holding a tiger on my lap and some Exotic Birds on my arms. See for yourself !!!
Out of all the places, Safari World and Wat Traimit fascinated me a lot. The Unexplored yet Explored 'Walking Street' glittered possibly, most of the travelers' eyes (Google it for now !)
Places apart, I was overwhelmed to see the lifestyle of the localities. Can't be sure but whomsoever I met were so punctual, like too much punctual (7.15 A.M is not 7.20 A.M, it is 7.15 A.M and in Thailand they mean it).
Initially this annoyed me to quite a good extent (C'mon I was not there to be punctual, Duh!). But I realized it is somehow a really good trait; to be on time doesn't mean you can't have fun (Okay, Its a good thing but not good when you are travelling :P).
All set and done, while facing the roaring waves at the Koh-Larn Beach I felt so happy for no reason. Just watching them, made me so calm inside.
"I could never stay long enough on the shore; the tang of the untainted, fresh, and free sea air was like a cool, quieting thought".
Travelling, without a doubt, teaches a person many things. The most important ones are-you cannot say anything about anyplace truly unless you visit it and also people everywhere are same yet different.
Note: You must be wondering where were the White Elepahants! We will leave it on you to find out. :D You can have an extremely budgeted trip to Thailand. Just save some money for few months and enjoy.
